Introducing Commodity | Where Simplicity is the new luxury
Believing the idea that simplicity is the ultimate luxury, Commodity has redefined modern fragrance. Since its original launch through a Kickstarter campaign in 2013 and being one of the first digitally native fragrance brands, Commodity set out an ambitious mission to change the fragrance industry forever.
Today, Vicken Arslanian, the Re-founder and Creative Director is the driving force behind the brand. Whose vision continues to challenge traditional fragrance conventions by rethinking every element of the perfume experience.
Beyond creating intriguing scents, Commodity is committed to be a conscious perfumery. Every fragrance is unisex, vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without blacklisted ingredients. The brand holds itself accountable for continuously evolving its ethical practices, working towards becoming more sustainable and responsible.
Each fragrance is carefully crafted by a master perfumer, who they like to refer to as “Makers” – similar to how a chef carefully selects their finest ingredients. Each fragrance is also given a distinctive name offering a glimpse into its personality and character. To create unique and memorable scents, Commodity uses only the finest ingredients available, designed to create products that resonate with a wide range of fragrance lovers.
What is SCENT SPACE?

Fragrance is subjective. It’s a feeling that is deeply personal to each individual and Commodity understands that not everyone wants the same level of impact from their scent. This idea led to a unique concept called SCENT SPACE, allowing each fragrance to exist in 3 different projections.
Rather than changing a fragrance's concentration, SCENT SPACE adjusts how far the scent projects from those who wear it. All fragrances remain Eau de Parfums, with concentrations ranging from 15–25%, ensuring excellent longevity regardless of projection.
By carefully adjusting notes that naturally increase or decrease diffusion, Commodity creates three interpretations of the same fragrance:
Expressive
The starting point for SCENT SPACE. These fragrances have a uniquely-balanced projection, noticeable by you and the many around you.
Expressive fragrances are housed in Commodity's signature black-and-white bottles, reflecting their balanced approach to fragrance projection.
Personal
Infused with soft, molecular notes to bring the projection closer to the skin. These subtle skin scents are for you and the few you allow close.
Personal fragrances are presented in ethereal white bottles with a minus (-) symbol, illustrating their intimate projection.
Bold
Infused with deep, amplified notes for a room-filling, head-turning presence. These are for you and everyone else.
Bold fragrances come in striking black-and-copper bottles while a plus (+) symbol, highlighting their amplified projection.

The Collection
Commodity's collection currently consists of eight core fragrances, each available in its own SCENT SPACE trilogy.

Originally released as a limited-edition drop that sold out within minutes, Milk+ Orchid has now earned a permanent place within the Commodity collection. As the brand's first collaboration fragrance, it was created alongside Emma from Perfumerism, a content creator and perfumery student credited with helping to ignite the lactonic fragrance trend.
Milk+ Orchid offers a soft floral twist on Commodity's beloved creamy Milk, resulting in an effortlessly addictive floral gourmand fragrance that find the perfect balance between silky creaminess and delicate florals.
